At the University:
- Association of Women in Mathematics, Clemson Chapter
For the past few summers, I have been given the great opportunity of assisting with the math portion of the WISE camp held each summer at Clemson University for middle school girls.
I had the amazing privilege of being a charter officer of the Clemson's student chapter of AWM. I and a few other graduate students started the student chapter officially in the spring of 2013. Since then I have been playing active role in the chapter as secretary, outreach chair, and vice president.
As a graduate student in the mathematics department, I am given opportunities to present on topics that catch my interest. A specific one that I really enjoyed giving was on the mathematics behind intonation, Mathematics of Intonation .

The Frazee Center is a community center located downtown Greenville. The center provides a safe and an encouraging atmosphere for both elementary and middle school students from economically struggling families. For a year, I led a group that went to the Frazee Center once a week and gave the middle school students opportunities to learn about math and programming (using Lego Mindstorms). For the majority of the activities, I created handouts for the students to follow.
